Ringgold Hosts Annual Mid-Mon Track Classic

Nine Mid-Mon Valley schools descended on Ringgold’s Joe Montana Stadium for the 17th annual Scott Frederick Mid-Mon Track Classic on Monday, April 30.  Schools in attendance were Belle Vernon, Bentworth, Beth-Center, Brownsville, California, Charleroi, Elizabeth Forward, Monessen, and Ringgold. On a beautiful Saturday, Ringgold Boys and Girls Track and Field participated in the Washington-Greene County Coaches Invitational at Peters Township High School. Jake Gorman (sophomore) claimed gold in the 400M dash (52.36).  He capped his day with a 6th place finish in the 200M and anchored the gold medal winning team in the 1600M
