The Ringgold hockey team was back in action on Monday night, traveling to Ice Castle to take on Carrick in PIHL Class B play.
After a scoreless first period in which they trailed 1-0, Kenneth Cadwallader scored just 56 seconds into the second period to knot things up at 1 apiece.
Cadwallader then set up Zach Kalinowski on Ringgold’s second goal less than three minutes later. Cadwallader scored his second of the game as he was falling to the ice, making it 3-1.
Finally, Cadwallader completed the hat trick on a goal assisted by Kalinowksi and Phillip Quattrone with 2:42 left in the period. Nathan Boulanger added the fifth Ringgold tally in the period for a 5-1 advantage after two.
Ringgold added two more goals split by one from Carrick in the third period for a 7-2 final score. Ethan Saylor and Kalinowski scored the final two for the Rams.
The Rams (4-0) next game will be December 3 against Bishop Canevin at the Ice Castle. Puck drop is set for 9p.m.
