Following on the heels of a day of mixed results, the Lady Rams came ready to play against Beth-Center. In the first games of the year, Beth-Center took it to Ringgold, winning both games by scores of 26-7 and 11-2. That was not the case on Tuesday.
Beth-Center appeared to try some new defensive looks against the Lady Rams this time. However, they did not stump Ringgold the way their previous attempt did. The Lady Rams free throws and foul troubles kept them at bay though. Ringgold saw a couple of players foul out as they tried to make a run in the second half. Both sides were cold from the charity stripe, shooting a combined nine of forty-four. The seven-point defeat is a significant upgrade from the nineteen-point loss at the beginning of the season.
Rhianna Fordham scored five points for the Lady Rams.
In the other game, Ringgold was unable to put up points like the day before. Yet, the defense was superb for the second day in a row. Beth-Center was kept in check, scoring a total of six points for the game. Once again, Fordham led the Lady Rams with four points in the 10-6 victory.
