The Ringgold JV hockey team took an early lead en route to a 4-2 victory over Norwin on Thursday night.
Steve Macheska and Cooper Salvay score first period goals for the Rams, who lead 2-0 at the first intermission.
Norwin would cut the deficit early in the second period before Braden Pringle found the back of the net to extend Ringgold’s lead back to two.
The teams would once again trade goals in the third period, but Ringgold would hold on for a 4-2 win. Jake Santori scored for the Rams in the third.
Jerry Mease finished with 7 saves on 9 shots for Ringgold.
The boys play again on Monday, November 4th against Kiski.
