The Ringgold JV baseball team rebounded from a loss on Monday to beat Greensburg Salem at home on Tuesday afternoon.
Ringgold jumped ahead 4-1 after the third inning, but the Lions fired back, scoring 5 runs in the fourth to take their first lead, 6-4, of the game.
The Rams answered the challenge and responded with four runs of their own in the bottom of the inning to retake the lead. The big inning started off when Eddie Frizzell doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, followed by a double from Brad Banaszak, scoring two runs. Noah Winberg then singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
Ringgold would tack on two more insurance runs in the sixth and take a 10-6 win.
Tim Masters was the winning pitcher for the Rams. The righty went three and two-thirds innings, allowing zero runs on four hits, striking out two and walking zero.
Ringgold returns to action on Friday against Trinity.
