The Ringgold JV baseball team hosted Thomas Jefferson on a windy afternoon at Ringgold High School.
The Jaguars would throw a knock out punch in the first inning and cruise to an easy 15-0 victory over the Rams.
In the first inning, Thomas Jefferson would plate 10 runs to take a commanding lead. The Rams struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively.
The lone bright spot for Ringgold was a double by Andrew Amati in the second inning.
Joe Verscharen took the loss on the mound for Ringgold. He allowed five hits and 12 runs. Deondre Dotson and Matt Simmons entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two and a third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.
The boys are back in action on Wednesday in a night game at Belle Vernon.
