The Ringgold hockey team used a 4-goal first period to cruise to a 7-1 victory over Trinity on Tuesday night at Printscape Arena.
Ethan Saylor scored two goals for the Rams in the opening period, while Nicholas Nagy and Nathan Boulanger each added one. Ringgold dominated the first twenty minutes, outshooting the Hillers 15-2.
In the second period, each team lit the lamp, with Trinity scoring first followed by Nagy’s second of the game and another goal from Jacob Frahlich.
In the third, the Rams added an insurance goal from Kenny Cadwallader for a 7-1 final score.
Jerry Mease earned another win in net, stopping 7 of 8 shots and giving up the lone power play tally.
Ringgold moves to 14-1 on the season but doesn’t return to the ice until March 11.
