The Ringgold boys soccer team traveled to Trinity on Tuesday for a Section 3-3A game at Hillers Stadium. The Rams needed a win in order to keep their section title hopes alive.

Trading chances throughout the game, neither team was able to score and with the clock running out in regulation it appeared as if they were headed for overtime.

Ringgold’s Frank Lowstetter felt differently. Lowstetter played the hero for the Rams, taking a cross from Mason Fabean and scoring the game-winning goal with only 4.5 seconds remaining!

The Ringgold victory sets the stage for a showdown with first-place Laurel Highlands on Thursday night. The Rams (10-6, 9-2) will host the Mustangs in a 7:30 p.m. start at Joe Montana Stadium.
