The Ringgold baseball team earned a share of the Section 3-4A title with a 13-3 victory over Uniontown Wednesday evening at Bailey Park.
The Rams had a great day offensively, finishing with 13 hits and were led by Koby Bubash, who went 3-3 at the plate with 4 RBI’s, including a home run and a double.
Travis Drusbasky also picked up three hits and Nick Kolano and Bobby Boyer each contributed with two.
Josh Peters picked up the win on the mound, allowing two hits in five shutout innings. He walked one and struck out eight.
With the win, Ringgold finishes section play with a record of 11-3 and finishes as co-champions with Thomas Jefferson. The boys will have a non-section game at Beth-Center on Friday to close out the regular season before the WPIAL playoffs begin next week.
