Brandon is entering his fifth year as an athletic trainer at Ringgold High School. He received his Master’s Degree from California University of Pennsylvania in 2008. Prior to that he studied at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama and graduated in 2007.
Throughout his career as an athletic trainer, he has worked with athletes at all levels. Brandon has spent time with both the Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The majority of his professional career was spent with Pittsburgh’s former AFL team, the Pittsburgh Power.
Brandon is a Florida native, but has resided in Pennsylvania since 2008. He chose to return to the high school level after the birth of his daughter, Jatolloa J. McClendon.
Heather Carpenter, LAT, ATC
Heather is in her first year as an athletic trainer at Ringgold after coming over from Bentworth High School. Heather received a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from California University of PA. She began working with UPMC Sports Medicine this past July. She is excited to work with the student athletes at Ringgold.
She has been working as an athletic trainer as various high schools for 18 years. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors and sports. She resides in Speers with her husband and two children.
