Brandon is entering his third year as an athletic trainer at Ringgold High School. He received his Master’s Degree from California University of Pennsylvania in 2008. Prior to that he studied at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama and graduated in 2007.
Throughout his career as an athletic trainer, he has worked with athletes at all levels. Brandon has spent time with both the Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The majority of his professional career was spent with Pittsburgh’s former AFL team, the Pittsburgh Power.
Brandon is a Florida native, but has resided in Pennsylvania since 2008. He chose to return to the high school level after the birth of his daughter, Jatolloa J. McClendon.
Thamar is entering her fourth year as an athletic trainer at Ringgold High School. She received her Master’s of Science in Sports Medicine and Nutrition from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014. Prior to that she studied at California University of Pennsylvania and graduated in 2012.
She was hired by UPMC Sports Medicine in September 2014 and has worked with various sports within her UPMC career. Thamar is originally from Belle Vernon where she graduated from Belle Vernon Area High School in 2008.
