Boys Varsity Cross Country, Girls Varsity Cross Country · Ringgold Cross Country hosts Pink Out at Mingo Classic

The Mingo Cross Country Invitational Cancer Awareness Pink Out Meet was hosted at Mingo Park on Thursday, October 15th with 30 teams competing.

The Ringgold boys cross country team continued their winning ways as they secured the team and individual title at the Mingo Classic Pink Out. Freshman Ryan Pajak ran away from the field at the two mile mark to secure the individual title with a time of 16:05. Lucas Pajak (5th-16:21) and Ben Daerr (7th-16:46) secured top ten spots to earn podium finishes. Lorenzo Zeni (28th-17:52) and Nick Whaley (29th-17:53) brought home the win with the top five team scoring positions.

David Molisee (52nd-18:47) and Aidan Fausnaught (67th-19:25) rounded out the varsity seven.

The Ringgold girls cross country team took 3rd overall in the AA team standings. Charlee Leach led the way with a 20th overall podium finish and a time of 21:02. Angelique Mariana (45th-22:04), Andrea Kassa(52nd-22:17), Annie Daerr (54th-22:20), Matigan Evans (57th-22:25), and Kaitlyn Lusk(91st- 24:31). All contributed to the high team placing.

The squad returns to action on Monday, October 19th, when they host the Washington County Championships.
