The Ringgold boys soccer team placed three student-athletes on the Section 3-AAA Finest Fifteen team, announced last Monday by league officials.
Leading Ringgold’s three selections were seniors Kobe Norfleet and Eli Schoedel.
Norfleet finished with a career-best 24 goals and 8 assists and played a huge role in facilitating Ringgold’s offensive attack. This year’s selection marks Norfleet’s third consecutive All-Section honor. Norfleet was also named the Section 3-AAA Player of the Year, earning the most overall votes from section head coaches.
Eli Schoedel appears on the All-Section roster for the second time in his career. After leading the Rams in scoring last season, Schoedel followed that up with a record-breaking performance as a senior. His hat trick on September 11th against Albert Gallatin, gave him 57 goals in his career, breaking the all-time scoring record at Ringgold. Schoedel finished with 59 goals over four years.
Junior Frankie Lowstetter received Honorable Mention for his strong play on both sides of the ball, despite only playing in 14 games due to injury. Lowstetter tallied five goals and eleven assists on the year.
Well done, boys!
