Although the summer is quickly coming to end, it also means that Fall Sports will be starting soon! High school teams are set to kick off next week with official practices beginning on August 13th. Middle school teams will begin in the following weeks with specific dates for each sport listed below.
As a reminder, all athletes trying out for a fall sport MUST have a full physical prior to the first official practice day and/or tryouts. To obtain that information click here: PIAA Physical. If you have not yet submitted your completed packet to the Athletic Office, bring it with you to the first day of practice.
High School Sports: 1st Official Practice/Tryout – August 13th
Practice times for Monday, August 13th:
Football (Varsity and JV) – 8:30am until 11:15am & 2:45pm until 5:30pm
MS Football (7th & 8th Grade) – 4:00pm until 6:00pm @ HS Stadium
Girls’ Soccer (Varsity and JV) – 7:00am until 9:00am & 5:30pm until 7:30pm
Boys’ Soccer (Varsity and JV) – 12:30pm until 2:00pm & 7:30pm until 9:30pm
Girls’ Volleyball (Varsity and JV) – 11am until 2pm
Girls’ Tennis – 8:00am until 10:00am
Golf – 9:30am @ Rolling Green Golf Course
Cross Country (Varsity B/G) – 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Mingo Park
Middle School Sports: Start dates listed below by sport
Football – Heat Acclimatization beginning August 13th
Boys’ Soccer – August 20th
Girls’ Soccer – August 20th
