Athletes from all over the WPIAL traveled to Baldwin High School on Thursday, May 18, to compete in the WPIAL Track & Field Championships.
Ringgold standout Brian Vandusen, currently ranked first in the state in the long jump, finished with a jump of 22-01.50 feet, which was good for seventh place in Class AAA. He also finished fourth in the 200m dash with a time of 22.69.
Vandusen’s performance was good enough to qualify him for the PIAA State Track & Field Championships to be held at Shippensburg University on May 26-27th.
