The Lady Rams softball team traveled to Munhall on Wednesday evening for a game against the Steel Valley Ironmen.
Steel Valley took an early lead in the first inning when a ball was miss played in right field. The Ironmen would another run in the second to go ahead 2-0.
Ringgold knotted the game up at two in the top of the fourth inning when Johnna Mocniak grounded out, scoring one run.
The game was tied at two with the Rams batting in the top of the fifth when there was a Steel Valley error in right field on a ball hit by Natalie Adams, scoring one run.
Jillian Scherer earned the win for the Rams. She tossed four innings, giving up no runs, with three hits, and striking out three.
Johnna Mocniak and Lauren Gohacki each drove in one run to lead the Ringgold Rams. The win brings the Rams record to 6-4 for the season.
Ringgold is back in action again on Thursday when they travel to Thomas Jefferson, looking to get revenge on the Jaguars.
