Game Recap

The Ringgold baseball team hosted Keystone Oaks on Tuesday afternoon for an important section match-up with the Eagles.

Ringgold captured the lead in the first inning, scoring on a error and Chase Angotti singled in the second inning to give the Rams a 2-0 lead.

Bo Haines earned the win on the mound for Ringgold. He pitched five innings, surrendering zero runs, four hits, and striking out nine. Ryan Varley recorded the last two outs to earn the save for the Rams.

Anthony Pampena went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Ringgold in hits, while Angotti finished with two RBI’s on the day.

With the win, Ringgold improves to 5-2 (2-2) overall and will be back in action again on Wednesday when they travel to Elizabeth Forward. Game time is set for 3:45pm.
