The Ringgold boys soccer team placed a trio of student-athletes on the Section 3-AAA All-Section team, the league announced last week.
Leading Ringgold’s three selections was midfielder Kobe Norfleet. Joining him were midfielder Christian Egan and forward Jackson O’Connor.
As a sophomore, Norfleet led the Rams in scoring this season with 14 goals, before being hampered by a foot injury late in the year. This year’s selection marks Norfleet’s first career All-Section honor.
Captain Christian Egan started in all 19 contests for Ringgold this season. He had a huge role in facilitating Ringgold’s offensive attack, leading the team in assists and scoring four goals on the year.
Finally, junior Jackson O’Connor also earned starting duties in every match this season. O’Connor was strong on both sides of the ball and tallied four goals during the regular season.
