Game Recap

The Ringgold football team hosted Trinity Friday night for Senior Recognition at Joe Montana Stadium. The Rams wasted little time, jumping out to a 14-0 first quarter lead against the Hillers, en route to a 34-14 victory.

The offensive attack was led by quarterback George Martin who went 11 of 18 for 272 yards and four touchdowns. Martin’s primary target was once again Max Maciejewski who caught five passes for 110 yards and scored two touchdowns. Brenden Small led Ringgold on the ground, rushing for 113 yards and one touchdown on 17 carries.

Also scoring for the Rams were senior wide receivers Easton Fine and Dalton Holt. Holt made his presence known on defense as well, racking up 9 tackles and an interception on the night.

With the win, Ringgold improves to 7-2 (6-2) on the year. Ringgold now shifts its focus to the WPIAL playoffs which begin next Friday, November 4th. The Rams will travel to Mars to take on the Fighting Planets in a rematch from last year’s playoffs. Kick off is set for 7:30pm.
