Game Recap

Rematch game #3 was at Trinity, with the Lady Rams striking early at the 3 minute mark on a blast from Alexa Carroza. The 1-0 score held until halftime.

The fireworks came in the second half when Ringgold’s goalie Faith Bobnar was injured, sending emergency goalie Ashlee Selembo into action. With Ringgold now being down a defender, Trinity tied the score 6 minutes in the second half. Several direct kick shots were awarded in the second half, and one Trinity player received a yellow card. 18 minutes in, Talya Ryckman took one of the direct shots, and Eleanor Bucchianeri tapped in the rebound to give the Lady Rams a 2-1 lead (Eleanor is now the seventh Lady Ram to score this season).
At the 20 minute mark, Trinity got a breakaway goal to again tie the game. Soon after Trinity took a 3-2 lead. The Lady Rams heavily pressured the final 10 minutes of play, and even had a few corner kicks, but there was no last minute magic. Final score Trinity 3, Ringgold 2.

The Lady Rams host Elizabeth Forward at home on Friday and will be dressed for the “Pink Out”. Game time set for 4pm.
