Game Recap

The Ringgold Rams battled hard to score a late goal against the Trinity Hillers as they move to 4-1 on the season.

The Rams dominated the offensive pressure but had trouble finding the back of goal as the Hillers held them to 1-0 victory. Captain Tyler Wesolowski scored the lone goal in the 58th minute from a penalty kick. Wesolowski’s shot beat the keeper high, deflecting in off the cross bar. The Rams’ penalty kick was awarded after a Hiller defender intentionally handled a Hunter Hodgson deflection on net from a Brandon Jaki corner kick.

Ashton Slavick recorded another clean sheet making 1 save facing only 1 shot on net. The Rams defense helped Ashton Slavick holding the Hiller offense at bay as the Ram offense benefited and held most of the possession for the game.

The Rams will take a 2-game win streak into their away game at Canon McMillan on Monday.
